Knowing about child development gives caregivers the skills to best nurture children and identify potential developmental delays. In this workshop, participants will explore active learning, child developmental domains, characteristics of typical development, and resources to support developmental delays. This workshop will also explore techniques for observing children and the unique characteristics of multi-age care settings
